How do I use the Options Recon Screener?
Quick answerOn Active Scanner and Terminal: the raw unusual flow behind the board, contract by contract. Filter by minimum premium (from 10 thousand dollars up to a million) and calls or puts, and sort by premium, volume, expiry or Vol/OI.
The details
- Filter: a minimum premium and calls or puts.
- Sort: premium, volume, expiry or Vol/OI.
- Vol/OI: today's volume against the contracts that already existed. 5× means today alone traded five times everything outstanding.
- NEW: volume on a strike that had no open contracts before today. It outranks any ratio.
It is for digging on your own; the board is the shortlist (reading a card).
