What do "partial" and "chain truncated" mean on a card?

Options ReconLast updated October 27, 2026
Quick answerThe data pull for that ticker hit a size limit, so some inputs may be missing. It happens on very large options chains. The score is still worked out and the card is real; the flag just tells you.
The details
  • partial / chain truncated: the ticker has a huge options chain (AMAT, NVDA and the like) and the pull reached its limit. The card is computed from what came in, and flagged.
  • spreads excluded: some money on those strikes traded as spreads, and was left out of the premium and the score (spreads).

Something on a card still looks wrong? Press Report a problem on the board, or tell us below with the ticker and the session date (report a problem).
