Does TriTrader+ give an options play? Which strike and expiry?

TriTrader+Last updated October 27, 2026
Quick answerYes, on the big, heavily traded names: an at-the-money call on a standard monthly expiry, about 75 days out on a daily call (60 to 95) and about 60 on a 4-hour call (45 to 90). Its price is the contract's real price when the call fired.
The details

The contract

  • Side: a call (TriTrader+ calls buys only).
  • Strike: the listed strike nearest the entry price: at the money.
  • Expiry: a standard monthly (the third Friday). Triangles take time to play out, so it sits further out than our other systems: about 75 days on a daily call, about 60 on a 4-hour.
  • Price: the contract's own price at the moment the call fired, then its latest daily close while the call is open. Never an estimate.

Why some calls have none

The options play shows only on names with a real options market: the big names, or a stock trading at least 250 million dollars a day. A thin name gets the stock trade alone.

When to sell it

With the stock: half at the conservative target, the rest at the aggressive target, or out with the stop or the time limit (the targets and the stop).

It shows on each call's card on the Live tab and in TriTrader+ PRO Alerts. Spreads are not part of the call: if you trade one, size it to the stock trade's stop and targets.
