On my 1-2-3 page, what do "day", "Now" and "Buy above" mean? It looks the same as yesterday
Quick answer"Day" is how many trading days since that stock's call. "Now" is how far the stock is from its entry, in %. "Buy above" on a setup is its trigger, candle 2's high: it is a buy only when the stock is over it at 3:45 PM Eastern. New calls come at 3:45 PM, so the list can look the same from day to day.
The details
Open your 1-2-3 Candle Alerts page.
The open calls
- Called: the day of the call, then day N: how many trading days it has been open. A call ends at its target, its stop, or on day 30 (the exits).
- Entry, Stop, Target: the call's prices.
- Now: how far the stock is from its entry right now, in %.
Buy above
A setup that is still forming shows Buy above <price>: its trigger, candle 2's high. A close just under it means it has not triggered. It becomes a call only when the stock is over that price at 3:45 PM Eastern (setups forming).
Why it can look the same
New calls come once a day, at 3:45 PM Eastern on the day a pattern triggers. On a day with none, the list stays the same while each call's Now moves with the price. The 1-2-3 calls are buys. When we trade one with options, it is a call option (the options trade).
