The debit is different from the posted one. Should I still take it?
Quick answerThe post says "around" because prices move. A limit near the posted debit keeps the trade as planned; paying much more makes the target (debit × 1.25) harder to reach and raises the risk. Your call.
The details
- Near the posted debit: take it, and set the GTC at the posted credit.
- Much higher: the posted credit is then a smaller gain; some members set their GTC at their own debit × 1.25 instead.
- Not filling: nudge the limit a cent or two, or let it go: there is another trade next Thursday.
