Why are there no tickets today?
Quick answerNothing on the menu was at a fresh 20-day high with a spread on sale at 3:00 PM ET, so nothing was served. We don't force a trade.
The details
- No fresh highs: a quiet or falling day can leave nothing In the Oven.
- Nothing on sale: a ticker at a high whose spread costs more than 43¢ per 1 dollar is not served.
- Before 3:00 PM: the oven is still cold. The page refreshes itself at the cook.
- Weekends and market holidays: the kitchen is closed.
- The cook ran late: a cook that can't finish by 3:20 PM ET serves nothing rather than a late ticket. The day says so on Recent recipes.
The Ticket rail's stovetop shows what is Preheating for the next cook.
