Why does Gravity Zone need 1.5× volume? A break looked good but was not called
Quick answerBecause without it the daily break barely made money on the months we held back. The call needs the confirming candle to trade at least 1.5× its 20-day average volume and close above the 200-day average. A break without both is drawn, not called.
The details
The checklist
- A daily close above the buy level (the cross).
- The next close above that candle's close confirms it.
- The confirming candle trades at least 1.5× its 20-day average volume.
- It closes above the 200-day average.
Why
We tested Gravity Zone on the ~250 stocks and ETFs the scanner watches, daily since 2022, and checked it on months the test never saw. The volume check is what made the difference; the 4-hour breaks, the 1-hour Gravity Pull and the sells did not hold up at all (only the daily).
A break that fails a line still draws on the chart, so you see it. See which stocks are close: Getting close.
