Is the Gravity Zone gravity line the POC? Are the buy and sell levels the VAH and VAL?
Quick answerClose cousins. The gravity line is the busiest price of the last 200 candles, the same idea as a point of control (POC). The buy and sell levels are where volume thins to a quarter of that peak, so they are Gravity Zone's own edges, not the textbook 70% value area.
The details
- Gravity line (dotted white): the price with the most volume in the last 200 candles: a point of control.
- Buy level (green) and sell level (red): from the gravity line up and down to where the volume at a price falls to a quarter of the peak. A value area is usually drawn around 70% of the volume instead, so the two are near each other but not the same.
- The histogram on the right is the profile itself: cold teal where few shares traded, hot red where most did.
What gets called is a confirmed daily close above the buy level, on real volume (the Gravity Break). The rest of the pieces: what the levels mean.
