What is the options play on a Gravity Zone call? Can I use spreads?
Quick answerEvery call shows the monthly at-the-money option about 45 days out (37 to 60), so it outlives the trade, which closes by its option Friday at the latest. Trade it, the stock, or your own structure.
The details
- The contract: the monthly at-the-money call, about 45 days out (37 to 60 days). It shows on every call's card on the Live tab and in the alerts.
- Why that far out: the trade closes on its option Friday at the latest (the first Friday at least 30 days after the entry), so the option always has time left.
- When to sell: with the stock trade: half at Target 1, a quarter at Target 2, the rest at the Aggressive Target, or out on the stop or the option Friday (the exits).
Spreads are not part of the call: if you trade one, size it to the stock trade's stop and targets. Calls only: Gravity Zone does not call sells.
