What is the VIX filter in the Snap Trades TradingView settings?
Quick answerThe TradingView script can skip days when the VIX is under a minimum (15 by default), so it trades only when the market is moving. You can switch it off or change the level in the indicator's settings.
The details
- Use VIX Filter? on or off, and Min VIX Level (15 by default), in the indicator's settings (the gear by its name).
- On a quiet day under that level the script draws no trades.
Snap Trades Live uses the in-play volume filter instead (stocks in play).
