What is in a 1-2-3 alert, and how do I read it?
Quick answerThe chart, the stock and its trigger, the entry, the stop 10% under it, the target 5% over it and day 30, then the options trade and when to sell it, or "trade the stock".
The details
A call reads top to bottom:
- The chart: the three neon candles, the buy, and the entry, stop and target lines.
- The title: "1-2-3 Candle · <stock> 1-2-3 Buy (Daily)".
- "⏰ 1-2-3 BUY · <stock> (Daily) · buy before the close" and "Over candle 2's high (<price>)": the trigger it is over, at 3:45 PM Eastern.
- Entry: about the price at 3:45 PM: buy before the 4:00 close.
- Stop: 10% under the entry. Target: 5% over it. Time exit: out at the close on day 30, with the date it falls on.
- The options trade: the contract (the monthly call one strike in the money, about 90 days out) and about what it cost at the signal, then "Sell when <stock> reaches <price> (+5% over the entry), or at the close on day 30. No stop on the option."
- Or "No options play on this one: its options trade too wide. Trade the stock." (why)
- After the close: "✅ Confirmed at the close" with the contract's price, or "closed back under the line: the 3:45 buy stands". A stock that crossed in the last minutes posts after the close as a buy at tomorrow's open.
Each alert links to your page in the members area, where the call keeps its card until it ends.
A contract still being priced says so; it shows on your page once it has prices.
