Where are the MagniZone stop and targets, and why there?
Quick answerThe stop is under the lowest low of the signal candle and the five before it, never closer than 1 ATR. The conservative target is half the risk on the daily chart (the full risk on the 4-hour); the aggressive target twice the risk on the daily, three times on the 4-hour.
The details
The entry
The signal candle's close through the zone.
The stop
Under the lowest low of the signal candle and the five before it, and never nearer than 1 ATR (the stock's average range). In testing, a stop at the zone's edge was knocked out on most trades, so it sits under the real swing instead.
The two targets
- Daily: the conservative target (TP1) half the risk above the entry, the aggressive target (TP2) twice the risk.
- 4-hour: the conservative target the full risk above the entry, the aggressive target three times the risk.
The risk is the distance from the entry to the stop; each call shows both targets in % of the entry. At the conservative target half comes off and the stop moves to your entry: the rest cannot turn into a loss.
How to trade them: conservative, aggressive or both works the same way on MagniZone. When a call ends: why it closed.
