How does Trend Rider work? What is a VOL BUY?Trend Rider colours the 50 EMA by the trend: green above and rising, red below and falling. A VOL BUY fires when the EMA turns green on a volume surge: one of the last 3 candles traded 1.8× its 20-candle average or more.

Where is the Trend Rider stop and target? When do I sell?The stop trails 3 ATR under the close and only moves up; a candle that closes at or under it ends the trade. The target is 12 ATR, four times the starting risk, reached on a close. Most trades end on the trailing stop.

Do I get Trend Rider trade alerts, or do I use it myself?Both ways work. Trend Rider Live in your members area lists every called VOL BUY as it fires. On TradingView you use the indicator on your own charts and can set its alerts yourself.

What timeframe is Trend Rider? Why no 1-hour calls?The calls are VOL BUYs on the daily and 4-hour charts, the higher timeframes it was built for; the daily is the stronger, held a median of about 6 weeks. The 1-hour is drawn, not called.

What are the rectangular boxes on the Trend Rider chart?The orange boxes are inside-bar zones: an inside candle on strong volume at a key level. The box turns green or red when price rejects off it. The short dotted lines mark where a candle touched a pivot level.

Why does Trend Rider show a volume pane?Because it reads volume: the VOL BUY fires on a volume surge and grey candles are low volume. So its charts carry the volume pane to show what it reads.

I missed a Trend Rider VOL BUY. Can I still get in?The card keeps the entry and shows the trailing stop now. Since the stop rises with price, a late entry sits further above it: measure your own risk from today's price to the card's SL.
