The three rows of dots, Full Power, the Power board

20 questions about Power Index

Where is the Power Index in my members area?Open Power Index in the menu on the left: its Live tab is the Power board, every chart at 7 of 9 or more with the Top 3 first, and its TradingView tab has the indicator and its install. Read the full answer How do I read the Power Index dots?Three rows, one to three dots each: green for strength up, red for strength down, yellow for neither. Trend Power reads the EMAs, Momentum Power how hard price is pushing, Profit Power whether it moves enough to pay. Nine green dots is Full Power. Read the full answer What is Full Power and the Power Score? The Power Score counts the green dots across the three rows, 0 to 9. Nine is Full Power: the trend, the momentum and the movement all strongest up. The chart marks where a stock first reached Full Power. Read the full answer What is on the Power board and the Top 3?The Power board lists every chart at a Power Score of 7 of 9 or more on the daily and 4-hour, each with its three rows as on TradingView. The Top 3 Power are its first three: the most green dots, then the most momentum and movement. Read the full answer Does the Power Index tell me when to buy? Where is the entry and stop? No: it is a reading, not a trade call, so there is no entry, stop, target or win rate. Use it to pick which breakouts have power behind them, for example a TriTrader+ or MagniZone call on a chart at Full Power. Read the full answer Does the Power Index read the daily, 4-hour or 1-hour chart? On the members-area board, the daily and 4-hour charts: it was moved to our platform on the higher timeframes. On TradingView the indicator reads any timeframe you open. Read the full answer Why does Profit Power look different from TradingView? One fix: the TradingView version compared the ATR in dollars to 25, 10 and 0, so it leaned on the share price and never turned red. Ours reads the ATR against the stock's own usual range, the number the script already worked out. Read the full answer How do I read the Power Score pane on Find Better Charts?A glowing pane under the candles with three rows, Trend, Momentum and Profit: one block per candle, green up, red down, yellow neither, taller and brighter the stronger. Beside each row are its three dots for the last candle, as the TradingView script shows them. Read the full answer How do I install the Power Index on TradingView?Power Index → the TradingView tab → Tradingview Access: press the install link, add it to your favorites, then pick it from Indicators → Favorites on any chart. Read the full answer Does the Power Index work on futures, forex and crypto? On TradingView, on any symbol it charts. The members-area board reads the scanner's ~250 US stocks and ETFs. Read the full answer What do red Power Index dots mean? Can I use them for shorts?Red is strength down: price under the EMAs, momentum pushing down, movement in a downtrend. It is a reading of weakness. Our systems call buys, so the board lists the green side. Read the full answer Which of your systems pair best with the Power Index?Any breakout system: a call on a chart with most of its dots green has trend, momentum and movement behind it. Trend Rider and Green Light Options come with it as a lesson for that reason. Read the full answer The Power board did not change today. Is it updating? It updates at every daily and 4-hour candle close. Between closes it holds; on a quiet day few charts reach 7 of 9, and the board can be short or empty. Read the full answer What is the marker where a stock "first reached Full Power"?On the chart, the candle where the stock first reached nine green dots is marked, so you can see how long it has held Full Power and how price moved since. Read the full answer The Power Score dropped from 9. Should I sell? The Power Index does not call exits. A falling score means the trend, momentum or movement weakened; if you hold a system's call, its own stop and targets are the plan. Read the full answer Why is the Profit Power row blank on a new stock?Profit Power compares the 20-bar ATR with the 500-bar ATR, so it needs 500 candles before it reads. On a recent listing or a short history, that row waits. Read the full answer Can I change the Power Index settings on TradingView?Hover its name on the chart and press the gear (⚙) for its inputs and Style. Our board uses the script's own lengths (the 20, 50, 100 and 200 EMAs; the 3 and 9; ATR 20 against 500). Read the full answer Is the Power Index on Find Better Charts?Yes, while Find Better Charts is in beta for you: Systems → Power Index draws the Power Score pane under the candles. Read the full answer I already own the Power Index and it came with another product. Did I pay twice?Trend Rider and Green Light Options include the Power Index as a lesson; it is the same indicator. If you think you were charged for it twice, tell us below with the order numbers. Read the full answer Will the Power Index keep working on TradingView after November 1?Yes. The November 1 rule is about invite-only scripts sold outside TradingView's Marketplace; ours are published scripts. The Power board runs on our own platform too. Read the full answer
