What is the MagniZone options play? Which strike and expiry?
Quick answerEvery call shows an at-the-money call on a standard monthly expiry: about 60 days out on a daily call (45 to 95), about 40 on a 4-hour call (28 to 65). Its price is the contract's real price when the call fired.
The details
The contract
- Side: a call (MagniZone calls buys).
- Strike: the listed strike nearest the entry: at the money.
- Expiry: a standard monthly (the third Friday), further out on the slower chart so the trade has time: about 60 days on a daily call, about 40 on a 4-hour.
- Price: the contract's own price at the moment the call fired (the live price within the hour, or that session's close for a daily call), then its latest daily close while open.
When to sell it
With the stock: half at the conservative target, the rest at the aggressive target, or out with the stop or after 20 candles (the stop and targets).
Spreads
A spread is not part of the call. Members who find the premium high sometimes trade a debit spread instead: if you do, size it to the stock trade's stop and targets.
It is on every call's card on MagniZone Live and in MagniZone 2.0 Alerts.
