How does Tipping Point work?
Quick answerIt draws an envelope around price: a smooth line through the closes with a band either side. When a candle closes back above the bottom of the envelope after a close under it, that is the buy: the candle turns bright green.
The details
- The envelope: each close weighted less the further back it is, with a band twice the average distance price keeps from that line over the last 499 candles.
- The buy: back inside after a stretch outside it. The next candles stay faint green while the trade is open.
