Quick answerThe Top 3 Breakouts and Top 3 Bounces rank the open calls by a quality score of 0 to 4 stars: one each for heavy volume, being near the 52-week high, a fresh zone, and how the stock moves. In testing, the higher the score the better the calls did.

One star each for
- Volume: the signal candle traded at least 1.5× its 20-candle average.
- Near the high: within 2% of the 52-week high.
- A fresh zone: touched at most once before.
- How it moves: on the daily, a stock that moves (its average range at least 3% of the price); on the 4-hour, a calm trend (under 2%).
