How much should I put in each 5 Candle trade?

5 Candle MasteryLast updated October 27, 2026
Quick answerSize it to the stop: decide how much of your account you will risk (many traders use about 1%), and divide that by the distance from the entry to the stop. The Position Sizer that comes with 5 Candle Mastery does it for you.
The details
  1. Open your 5 Candle page โ†’ ๐Ÿงฐ Guides & bonuses โ†’ The 5 Candle Position Sizer.
  2. Type your account size and the risk per trade.
  3. Type the entry and the stop from the call's card.

It shows the shares, what you lose if the stop is hit, and what the position costs. The first stop is wide, so the share count is often smaller than people expect; that is the point. A gap can open past a stop, so a loss can be bigger than planned.
