What is Big Dipper, and how does it work?
Quick answerBig Dipper watches a list of stocks and ETFs every 30 minutes in market hours for one pattern: a stock that has dipped deep into oversold and is snapping back, closing above the previous 30-minute candle's high. That fires a setup with its entry, stop and target.
The details
The pattern
- A stock dips deep: its Dip reading goes oversold (the Dip Meter).
- A 30-minute candle closes above the previous candle's high: the snap back.
- The setup fires automatically, with an entry, a stop-loss and a take-profit, each worked out from that ticker's own settings.
The rules it never breaks
- Always long: buying the bounce, never shorting.
- One trade at a time per ticker: no doubling up.
- Setup alerts fire once, the same day it triggers.
Every ticker earns a rank from its own finished trades (T1 to T5). The Manual in the dashboard's menu has the whole thing in one place.
